- Amanda Products Sponsors Mike Klensin Team Crossed Up Racing #4431
Amanda Products introduced its new SpeedHook™ to all the fans at Chocolate Thunder on Thursday and Friday during the King of the Hammers race week. For those asking where to get more information and order the hooks, here is the appropriate link: http://amandaproducts.com/pre-order.
“We went through a full pallet of Amanda Products Water and helped dozens of people re-charge their phones and cameras so they could keep taking pictures of all the action on Chocolate Thunder,” said Robert Gruschow, President of Amanda Products. “It was my first time out to that event and I was truly amazed at everything: the desert, the vehicles and the pure number of people racing and spectating.”
Amanda Products sponsored Mike Klensin had a great qualifying run putting him in the 35th starting position out of 157 on Friday morning. “Unfortunately, our race was cut short when the spindle sheared off the rear axle. An unpredictable and uncommon catastrophic failure that we couldn’t recover from,” said driver of record for #4431 Mike Klensin. “We are looking forward to a good Ultra4 Western Series season and the continued partnership with Amanda Products.” This was Klensin’s 6th King of the Hammers green flag.
When walking vendor row, you may have noticed the white Amanda Products Ultra SS 4-seater chassis in the Crossed Up Customs booth. This chassis was originally built as a SEMA vehicle in partnership with Artec Industries, Crossed Up Customs, and Ready 4 Rocks, and features several high-profile brands, including Rock Monster Wheels, BFGoodrich Krawlers, Rigid LED lighting, an Advance Adapters Atlas transfer case, Howe Performance hydraulic steering, and BS Sand custom seats.
