Amanda Products to Drive Prototype Jeep at 2015 Woodward Dream Cruise

Aftermarket manufacturer’s SEMA entry showcases prototype parts, off-road accessories

DETROIT – Aftermarket manufacturer Amanda Products will join the procession of classic automobiles in the 2015 Woodward Dream Cruise with their re-vamped take on the standard Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.  A rare off-road entry in the annual celebration of classic and custom cars, the Amanda Products SEMA Jeep will showcase prototype parts including doors, bumpers with a built-in winch and next-generation tow-hooks, all in a package designed to both impress on the main drag and conquer Michigan’s backroad trails.

In addition to taking part in the cruise, members of the design and manufacturing teams from Amanda Products, a sister brand of Livonia-based OEM supplier Deshler Group, will invite the public to visit their hospitality tent, which will display current and prototype SpeedHook™ tow hook models for the ATV market.

The Amanda Products hospitality tent, located along the cruise route at the Northwood Shopping Center (at 13 Mile Road and Woodward,) will also offer specially priced SpeedHook™ tow hooks for use on F-150 vehicles and those equipped with a 2” receiver hitch. The Amanda Products tent will also offer an opportunity to get an up-close look at Amanda Products’ newly re-vamped off-road buggy, outfitted with its patented SpeedHook™ tow hooks.

Designed for home installation, the prototype bumpers, doors and side mirrors are intended to appeal to the Jeep aftermarket, and are projected to go on sale by the end of 2015.  The Amanda Products SpeedHook^TM, an update on tow-hook design created to eliminate the need for shackles and preserve tow-straps, is already on the market and will be available for demonstration and purchase.

Amanda Products also invites all Dream Cruise attendees to post and tag #AmandaProducts in photos of their SEMA Jeep or white off-road buggy on social media (Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram) to be entered into a random drawing.  Prizes include the winner’s choice of a 2″ receiver mount SpeedHook™, a set of SpeedHooks™ for a Ford F-150, or a $100 gift card to dine at Vinsetta Garage, located at 27799 Woodward Ave. in Berkley.
